Your Mattress Is Probably Holding You Back
I replaced my mattress about eight months ago after sleeping on a saggy hand-me-down for way too long. The difference was honestly embarrassing - I’d been waking up with back pain for years and just assumed that’s what mornings felt like. Turns out I was just sleeping on garbage.

My partner moves around a lot at night and I barely notice anymore. The cooling cover does seem to help too, though I can’t say I totally understand how it works. Medium firmness, works for most people unless you have very specific preferences.
The 100-night trial is shorter than some competitors offer, which is slightly annoying. And yeah, it’s not cheap.

Saatva Classic
If you want that traditional hotel bed feel, Saatva nails it. My parents have one and it’s genuinely luxurious feeling. The white glove delivery is nice - they set everything up and haul away your old mattress so you don’t have to deal with it.
It’s an innerspring so there’s more bounce, which some people love and others find annoying. You can feel your partner moving more than with foam options. Also heavy as hell if you ever need to move it.

Nectar Premier
Probably the best value out there right now. That “forever warranty” sounds like marketing speak but I’ve heard they actually honor it. Plus a full year to try it - if you’re not sure what you want, that’s pretty risk-free.
Memory foam, so it does sleep a bit warm. Takes a few weeks to really break in and lose that new foam smell. But for the price? Hard to beat.

Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe
My friend who runs hot at night swears by this one. She used to wake up sweaty basically every night and said this fixed it. The CopperFlex foam is supposed to regulate temperature - not sure exactly how that works but it apparently does something.
Higher price point but if you’re a hot sleeper who’s tried everything else, might be worth it.

Eight layers including a cashmere blend cover sounds fancy, and it feels pretty premium for a mid-range price. Good hybrid option if you don’t want to spend All-Clad money on All-Clad quality (to use a cookware analogy).
Runs firmer than some people expect. And it’s heavy - not fun to maneuver during setup.

Tight on budget? Nectar Premier is legitimately good quality with that long trial period.
Hot sleeper? Brooklyn Aurora Luxe seems to be the one that actually works.
